After the signing of the documents, Dacic voiced the hope that everything envisaged by the Roadmap will be realised soon and that Serbia will become a strategic and operational partner of Europol.
To this end, it is necessary to have full exchange of information and data protection so that this would not be accessed by those who would use it to prevent their own arrest.
Wainwright said that Serbia is Europol´s central partner in this part of Europe.
During the day, Dacic also met with Europol Assistant Director Laszlo to discuss networks of organised crime in south eastern Europe and joint operations.
Dacic and the Serbian delegation, which also includes Director of the Interpol office in Belgrade Milos Oparnica, visited Europol laboratories which conduct forensic examination of counterfeit euro banknotes.
