First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dacic stated that the Serbian government, at its session today, will examine a proposal by the Interior Ministry to allow citizens of EU countries as well as Switzerland, Norway and Iceland entry into Serbia with ID cards, removing the requirement for a passport.
In a statement to the Tanjug news agency, Dacic said that this is yet another sign of Serbia’s full commitment to continuing its EU integration process.
I am convinced that such a decision will further strengthen mutual trust and will be highly welcomed by the public and political institutions of European countries, said Dacic.
