He stated at the meeting that he will be consistent with his principled stance regarding the points on which agreement was reached with the IMF in April this year.
This means that from next year pensions in Serbia will be adjusted to public sector salaries, he said.
The agreement with the IMF should not affect population groups that are barely surviving during the crisis, he said.
If it becomes possible to increase salaries this year, pensions and social welfare payments will be increased accordingly, said Krkobabic.
