In an interview for Geneva’s daily Times, Cvetkovic stressed that this issue should be left aside, in the hands of the International Court of Justice, whose opinion on this matter will soon be heard.
The Prime Minister reiterated that Serbia wants all Western Balkans countries to become EU members as soon as possible.
In that process, Croatia, for example, which has made the biggest progress, should not be obstructed, but at the same time, this process for other countries should be accelerated.
Speaking about the adoption by the Serbian parliament of the Declaration Condemning the Srebrenica Massacre, Cvetkovic said that the Serbian government advocates a policy of reconciliation with the aim of setting foundations for a peaceful common future for all countries of the region.
