Head of the Serbian Sports Directorate Aleksandar Sostar said today that the draft law on sports is being prepared, noting that adoption of the law will be preceded by a public discussion, after which constructive suggestions will be incorporated in this act.
Sostar said that the law will address the financing of sports, National Olympic Committee, and privatisation of sports clubs.
He said that the Sports Directorate met its obligations to all 308 sportsmen who receive financial bonuses. He also said that the Directorate has prepared a law controlling doping.
Sostar told the press that around 400 million dinars will be set aside next year for sports associations.
