Head of the Serbian Interior Ministry’s Public Security Service Miroslav Milosevic announced that the ministry will soon form a universal antiterrorist unit instead of the existing gendarmerie antiterrorist units and special antiterrorist unit.

Milosevic told Tanjug news agency that antiterrorist preventive measures have been applied since June at vital points in the city – at the airport, railway and bus stations, underground station Vukov Spomenik and near St. Sava Cathedral.
He also said that diplomatic offices of foreign countries are also being secured, especially the embassies of the United States and Israel.
