Deputy Prime Minister for EU integration and Minister of Science and Technological Development Bozidar Djelic will be in Brussels from 10 to 11 May to attend the World Economic Forum on Europe “Renewed Leadership, New Vision”.
According to a statement issued by the Deputy Prime Minister’s Cabinet, the Forum is being held to discuss Europe’s response to the global financial crisis and recession, the future of the Euro, a European strategy for debt management, sustainable development and Europe’s role on a global level.
Djelic will participate in the “Rethinking Smart Growth: Impact on Industry” session. He will also attend the final “Implementing the Europe 2020 Strategy: Key Next Steps” session.
During his visit, Djelic will also hold several bilateral meetings with European officials.
