The Serbian parliament adopted amendments to a Law on regional development today, which envisage the formation of five regions in Serbia, instead of seven, as was originally intended.
These regions are Vojvodina, the Belgrade Region, the Region of Sumadija and Western Serbia, the Region of Southern and Eastern Serbia and the Region of Kosovo-Metohija.
At today’s session the parliament also adopted amendments to a Law on refugees, a Law on the right to free shares and a Law on the Privatisation Agency.
Serbian MPs also adopted a Law on metrology, synchronising this field of science with the Serbian judicial system, the rules and regulations of the World Trade Organisation and the EU.
