Djelic on official visit to Germany

Deputy Prime Minister of European Integration and Minister of Science and Technological Development Bozidar Djelic will make an official visit to Germany from 3 to 7 May, during which he will attend the Europe Forum conference.
This event will gather EU and German officials, and Djelic will hold a speech on what the EU can and should offer to its candidate countries.
Djelic will hold meetings with German Minister of Economy and Technology Rainer Bruderle, Minister of Education and Research Annette Schavan, Minister of State at the Federal Foreign Office Werner Hoyer, Advisor to the Chancellor for European Affairs Uwe Corsepius and Advisor to the Chancellor for Foreign Affairs Christoph Heusgen.
Djelic will also talk with Chairman of the Bundestag Committee on European Affairs Günter Krichbaum, Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs Ruprecht Polenz and Chairman of the Social Democratic Party’s caucus in Bundestag Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
The Deputy Prime Minister will also speak at the Committee on European Affairs and hold a lecture at the European Movement in Germany.
At the invitation of the World Bank Vice President for Europe and Central Asia Phillip le Houerou, Djelic will take part in the ninth Forum of the Economy of Knowledge (FEZ IX) to speak about how to surpass the crisis through knowledge and innovations.
The forum will be organised by the World Bank Vice Presidency for Europe and Central Asia (ECA) and the Fraunhofer Institute.
