In an interview with Tanjug news agency, she said that she is convinced it is clear to everyone that state organs, top judiciary officials and she personally, cannot be stopped by threats from doing the work that has been started.
The fight against organised crime has already produced concrete results and threats only prove that criminals are disturbed by the effective implementation of the law on the confiscation of illegally obtained assets, said Malovic.
Carrying out financial investigations is of crucial importance now because it will help determine to what extent those within institutions were linked with organised crime, she said.
The investigation in connection with Darko Saric has not ended. All those who are suspected of being connected with the case will be investigated, she said.
No one will be given special privileges or spared in the fight against organised crime. In this context we are not talking about support by political structures as such but the possible involvement of certain individuals, said the Minister.
The judiciary will deal with corruption without any compromise. Not only in cases related to the Saric Group but in all cases, including public companies, she said.
For the sake of future generations, Serbia must root out organised crime completely. Our state organs are making good progress towards achieving this goal, said the Justice Minister.
