At the closing of the seminar, Dacic said that the five day seminar was a place for presenting the latest technological advances in police work.
All relevant bodies of the Interior Ministry which were part of this event showed that the implementation of modern technology can greatly contribute to the fight against organised crime and international terrorism.
The Minister praised the seminar organisers, presenters and participants, as well as those who developed the technological tools presented.
These included a geographic information system, IP phones and video conferencing systems, systems for the implementation of qualified digital signatures, mobile devices for various investigative processes, a TETRA system and an e-administration portal.
Email encryption solutions, various video surveillance systems, modern police vehicles, firefighting unit cameras, and the 112 emergency response system were also presented at the seminar.
