Dacic meets with European parliament delegation

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dacic met today with members of the European parliament delegation led by Vice-President of the Group of Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats in the European parliament Hannes Swoboda.
Dacic said that the Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of Justice have given a very important contribution to Serbia’s path towards the EU with their work on visa liberalisation.
He pointed to the particularly good regional cooperation between ministers of police, who will meet in Montenegro next week.
Speaking about international cooperation he said that the Serbian police, working in cooperation with security departments of the United States, Britain and other countries, seized five tonnes of cocaine during the last one a half years, which highlights successful trans-border cooperation in the fight against drug trafficking.
