Serbia, Bosnia-Herzegovina sign tourism cooperation agreement

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Regional Development Mladjan Dinkic and Minister of Foreign Trade and Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of Bosnia-Herzegovina Mladen Zirojevic signed an agreement in Mostar today on tourism cooperation between Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina.

According to a statement issued by the Ministry, the agreement was signed at the international economy fair Mostar 2010, which was opened today by Serbian President Boris Tadic.
Dinkic said at the signing that there must be cooperation in the region in order to attract tourists. He suggested the organisation of a Dubrovnik–Mostar–Sarajevo–Novi Sad tour linked with themes of wine and the routes of the Roman kings.
As part of the international fair Mostar 2010, Dinkic also opened an economic forum, which will be attended by representatives of Serbia, the Council of Ministers of Bosnia-Herzegovina and Republika Srpska.
In addition, as part of the International fair of economy “Mostar 2010”, Dinkic opened the Business forum, which has gathered representatives of Serbia, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Republika Srpska.
Dinkic suggested that the governments of Serbia, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Croatia hold joint sessions every three months in order to resolve common problems and boost the economies of all three countries.
Only through joint efforts can we attract more investment and eliminate obstacles among our economies and states, Dinkic said and added that by turning towards the future, with development and regional cooperation, conditions can be created for opening new factories and creating jobs.
We finally have peace in these lands and it is time for economic development and an increase in the standard of living, added Dinkic.
