Djelic at Second European Summit on Roma Inclusion

Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Bozidar Djelic will travel to Spain on 8 and 9 April to participate in the Second European Summit on Roma Inclusion.
Djelic will present the achievements of Serbia in the implementation of the Strategy for the Promotion of the Roma, and speak about our country's experiences in implementing projects to improve the position of minority groups that are financed from European funds.
Serbia received more than €33 million from EU pre-accession funds for six projects aimed at vulnerable groups, including the Roma population.
At the conference, President of the Union of Roma of Serbia Rajko Djuric will receive an award for his contribution to Roma culture and literature, awarded by the Institute of Culture in Madrid.
The event will bring together representatives of EU institutions, EU member states, international organisations and Roma civil society.
