Fule calls on Serbia to join implementation of Europe 2020 strategy

Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Bozidar Djelic talked with EU Enlargement Commissioner Stefan Fule today about steps that Serbia is taking in the process of European integration.

The meeting also dealt with regional cooperation of the Western Balkan states and Serbia’s participation in the preparation of a comprehensive EU strategy for the Danube region.
Djelic and Fule discussed an initiative for the creation of a technological fund for the Western Balkans, which has been supported by most countries of the region.
Fule said that Serbia’s priorities fully match those of EU strategy Europe 2020 and called on Serbia to get included in its implementation.
