Serbian, Bulgarian culture ministers discuss cooperation

Serbian Minister of Culture Nebojsa Bradic talked today in Bulgaria with Bulgarian Minister of Culture Vezhdi Rashidov about the Programme of cooperation between the two ministries for 2010, 2011 and 2012.
The Programme will be signed in the near future and it will bind the two sides to support and stimulate all forms of cultural cooperation of cultural institutions and organisations, with the aim of getting familiar with the cultural and artistic work of the two peoples.
It was agreed at the meeting that cooperation in the area of publishing will be intensified, primarily by encouraging translation of modern literary works, as well as participation in the book fairs held in the two countries.
The ministries of both countries will support Serbian and Bulgarian theatres regarding their participation in international theatre festivals and will also help promote film directors at film festivals.
