Ivica Dacic, left, and Mary Warlick
Dacic informed Warlick about results of his visit to the United States and plans of the Ministry of the Interior for further cooperation with the US police. One of the topics discussed was the political situation in Serbia.
Warlick said that she will do everything to boost cooperation between Serbia and the United States and announced that the US Embassy will support the implementation of plans of the Serbian Ministry of the Interior, which were discussed during last week’s visit of the Serbian Deputy Prime Minister to the United States.
Warlick expressed satisfaction with the plans for the expansion of the peacekeeping mission of the Serbian Interior Ministry in Haiti and the engagement of Serbian police officers in EU missions in Congo and Afghanistan.
Mary Warlick served as Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defence for Russia, Ukraine and Eurasia until May 2009.
Warlick succeeds Cameron Munter who was appointed to a new position in Iraq.
