Patriarch to be ceremonially enthroned in Pec Patriarchate on April 25

Serbian Patriarch Irinej today stated that on April 25 he will be ceremonially enthroned at the Pec Patriarchate, at which occasion the Serbian Orthodox Church’s Synod will start a new sitting.

The Patriarch told the press that the Synod will resume in Belgrade, adding that guests from abroad will also attend the enthronement, which will be a good opportunity for them to witness the situation in Kosovo-Metohija and perceive the importance of the Pec Patriarchate for the Serbian people and their church.
