Sutanovac said that it is important that Serbia returned to the markets of countries to which the former Yugoslavia was selling its products.
Our wish is to increase exports three times over and reach €1 billion, but it is difficult to predict that because of changing international markets, the Minister said.
By exporting arms and military equipment, the Ministry of Defence generally contributes to the reduction of foreign trade deficit, which is one of the main priorities of every government.
He said that several thousand Serbian citizens will be employed in the military industry, as well as a large number of subcontractors.
My personal wish is to sell Serbia's agricultural products to the countries which do not have their own agricultural production, Sutanovac said, adding that when defence cooperation is at a high level, then its is much easier to establish all other forms of cooperation.
