First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dacic stated last night that the police placed two persons in custody on suspicion of having threatened to kill television B92 reporter Brankica Stankovic, as well as identifying other suspects.
Dacic told the Tanjug news agency that the police have reasonable grounds to believe that Goran Kljestan (33) and Aleksandar Perisic (28) were part of the Partizan supporter group that shouted death threats to Stankovic at the Partizan–Sahtjor match, adding that they will remain in custody for 48 hours.
He said Kljestan and Perisic confessed their involvement, adding that the police have identified other group members and will soon take them in.
No one can make threats to other people in this country and the police will do its best to uncover and bring into custody all who jeopardise the safety or lives of others, Dacic noted.
