At a press conference about signing the agreement for a Japanese donation to the Surdulica health centre and the Sabac general hospital, Milosavljevic stressed that once all data pertaining to the new flu virus epidemic is gathered, the option of prolonging the holiday will probably be taken.
The decision to ban all public gatherings was implicitly made when the government declared a state-wide epidemic, the Minister said, noting that local health centres are to decide about the need to temporarily forbid public congregations.
The Minister voiced his hope that on December 17 free inoculations will begin for all citizens, reiterating that the priority groups, including chronic patients, pregnant women, children beyond six months of age and employees in public services, the army and the police, will be the first to receive the vaccine.
