Dacic thanked Besson for voting for the abolishment of visas for Serbian citizens and congratulated him on the qualification of the French national football team for the 2010 World Championship.
As a sign of friendship between the two peoples, he gave Besson a Serbian national football team shirt with his name and the year of his birth emblazoned on the back.
Besson promised Dacic that he will give him a shirt from one of the French national team players, Thierry Henry for example, when he next visits France.
Dacic and Besson visited the Kalemegdan fortress and Dacic informed the French Minister of its history and importance.
The Monument of Gratitude to France was erected on November 11, 1930 a symbol of the friendship, mutual help and cooperation between Serbia and France during the First World War.
