First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dacic met today in Nyon with UEFA president Michel Platini to discuss the prevention of violence in sport.
Dacic informed Platini about the details pertaining to the murder of French Brice Taton, as well as legal amendments regarding the prevention of violence at sport events, initiated by the Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of Justice.
The UEFA president voiced his pleasure with the speedy reaction of the Serbian police and the arrest of suspects in the Brice Taton case.
He voiced his readiness to send a delegation of UEFA officials to share their knowledge and practical experiences of European countries that successfully resolved issues of violence at sporting events.
