World Economic Forum invites Djelic to help shape Europe’s future

Deputy Prime Minister for EU integration and Minister of Science and Technological Development Bozidar Djelic will represent Serbia and countries in transition at the World Economic Forum’s Global Agenda Council on the topic of future of the European Union.

The initiative was backed by G20 countries, the UN and other international organisations.
The Global Agenda Council comprises 15 renowned experts, including a member of the Italian Senate and former European Commissioner Emma Bonino and member of the Executive Board of the German Central Bank Jürgen Stark.
Djelic stated it is a great honour to take part in the work of the World Economic Forum’s Council.
The initiative will be important for the EU and it is very significant that Serbia has been invited to take part in the shaping and reshaping of Europe’s future, Djelic stressed.
The Council will convene monthly through digital communication and the first conclusions are to be stated at the Davos World Economic Forum in 2011.
