Serbian Minister of Diaspora Srdjan Sreckovic and president of the European Movement in Serbia Zivorad Kovacevic signed today a Protocol on cooperation, signed on joint project "Serbia is in Europe".
After signing the agreement, Sreckovic said that the aim of the project is to train members of Serbian clubs, associations and organisations in European countries to create projects and apply for donations from EU funds.
The project will be launched in Germany, on the basis of research made on the level of interest for such form of cooperation. A common requirement for participation in the EU programs is partnership with participants from various countries.
Project proposals should be drafted from the perspective of European values which will then become the values of the Serbian community and pave Serbia’s way towards the EU, the Minister said.
The goal of the Protocol on Cooperation is to create a single network of Diaspora associations in Europe in order to utilise the potential of our citizens in EU countries.
