Minister of Culture Nebojsa Bradic opened last night at the Gallery of Matica Srpska in Novi Sad an exhibition of paintings by Milena Pavlovic-Barilli, which the Museum of Contemporary Art in Belgrade organised on the one hundredth anniversary of the birth of the great painter.
The Minister stressed the need to integrate more closely Italian and Serbian culture.
Italian Ambassador to Serbia Armando Varicchio said that Milena Pavlovic-Barilli in a special way confirms the friendship between the two countries.
He also announced that, after Novi Sad, the exhibition will be shown at the Italian Cultural Centre in Belgrade.
