Deputy Prime Minister for EU Integration and Minister of Science and Technological Development Bozidar Djelic stated today that the public administration must be reduced to lessen the burden on citizens.
Djelic told the press that employees in state administration and local governments make up only 6% of budget users.
The Ministry Science and Technological Development will reduce their number of employees from 53 to 45, while the Deputy Prime Minister’s Office will reduce the number of workers from 38 to 28.
The EU Integration Office, however, will increase their workforce by 10.
