State help for jobless after personnel reduction

Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Jovan Krkobabic said today that the state will make every effort to help those who lose their jobs as a result of personnel rationalisation in public administration and local self-governments.

During a visit to Vranje, Krkobabic said that rationalisation will not be done in one move rather it will be a process and the state will do everything in its power to provide compensation to those who remain without jobs and to help them find other employment.
He talked today with Head of the Pcinja District Budimir Mihajlovic and Mayor of Vranje Miroljub Stojcic, stressing that his message to the city authorities is that they must try to save jobs.
In Trgoviste, Krkobabic talked with the Municipal President Vlasta Petrovic and representatives of local bodies. In Radovnica, the most undeveloped part of the municipality, Krkobabic distributed aid packets to socially disadvantaged families, the elderly and refugees.
The Deputy Prime Minister said that Radovnica is a very poor village with only 20 families and each family will receive all necessary assistance.
