Deputy Prime Minister for EU integration Bozidar Djelic met today with the high delegation of the British Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Select Committee, headed by Sir John Stanley.
In light of the anticipated decision on visa abolishment for Serbian citizens travelling to Schengen countries, which should come into force on January 1, 2010, Djelic proposed that the British parliament looks at the possibility of abolishing visas for Serbian citizens travelling to the UK.
The British parliamentary delegation was presented with the results Serbia achieved in the EU integration process and the government plans for future steps in that direction.
