First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dacic said today that without cooperation between the police, public prosecutors and judges there can be no justice and democracy in Serbia and added that the ministries of the interior and justice have established stronger cooperation.
Speaking at a counseling conference of judges in Vrnjacka Banja, “Days of Judges 2009”, Dacic said that respect for human rights and freedoms and a state without corruption and crime, violence and Fascist ideologies are the basic political values which everyone should advocate in their work.
He underlined that the ministries of the interior and justice did not create the system of values in Serbia which generated the crime and violence and all the other bad things that are happening today in Serbia.
The First Deputy Pime Minister said that these two ministries, judges and prosecutors are seeking to reach consensus on what goals and values our society is fighting for, because without such agreement no joint campaign can yield results.
