Krkobabic meets with Chinese Deputy Culture Minister

Deputy Prime Minister Jovan Krkobabic today met with Chinese Deputy Minister of Culture Ouyang Jian, who is heading a delegation of the Chinese Culture Ministry on its visit to Belgrade.

Krkobabic said that the recent visit of Serbian President Boris Tadic to China is the best evidence of the friendship between the two countries, adding that it contributed a lot to the strengthening of economic and cultural cooperation.
Jian said that cultural cooperation between Serbia and China has been very successful, noting that the Days of Chinese Culture in Serbia, to be held in Belgrade during October, as well as the Days of Serbian Culture, which will be organised next year in China, will contribute to its further development.
He stressed that apart from its cultural mission, China will continue its diplomatic mission by respecting Serbia's territorial integrity and sovereignty, particularly when it comes to Kosovo-Metohija.
