Security ensured for participants in Batajnica 2009 air show

Minister of Defence Dragan Sutanovac today confirmed that all the necessary security measures for the international air show, Batajnica 2009, scheduled for September 13, have already been implemented.

At a press conference, held at Batajnica Airport, Sutanovac invited citizens to attend the air show, and take the opportunity to see a large number of aeroplanes.
State Secretary at the Ministry of Defence Zoran Jeftic noted that infrastructure investments make up more than 80% of the total amount spent on organising the show.
Jeftic also thanked the donors for their investment in the organisation of this event.
Air Force Commander Brigadier General Ranko Zivak stressed that all steps have been taken to ensure the safety of the participants, adding that the safety measures operate on several levels.
All preparations pertaining to infrastructure and organisation have been completed and Batajnica Airport is ready to host all the participants and visitors.
