Bradic to visit Hilandar monastery

Minister of Culture Nebojsa Bradic, together with his advisors, Goran Markovic and Zoran Hamovic, will visit the Hilandar monastery in order to become familiarise himself with its condition and the work necessary for its reconstruction.
According to the Culture Ministry's statement, the Minister will meet with the monastery brotherhood and the experts who are in charge of reconstruction.
The Culture Ministry will set aside RSD 50 million for the restoration of monastery lodges.
The Great Lodge from 1821, almost one half of the monastery destroyed in a devastating fire, is currently being reconstructed.
The Culture Ministry will also consider additional funding in order to help the complete restoration of the monastery, concludes the statement.
