Dacic meets with Chief of UNICEF Serbia

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Ivica Dacic today met with Chief of UNICEF in Serbia Judita Reichenberg to discuss the "Schools without Violence" programme.

According to the Interior Ministry's statement the implementation of the programme, whose main aim is to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children, began in 2005.
The programme is being carried out under the auspices of the Education, Health and Interior ministries, the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy and the Council for Children's Rights.
Dacic and Reichenberg also discussed a training programme concerning the psychological and ethical aspects of communication between the police and children who break the law, which has been attended by over 400 policemen.
