He said that this clinic is now one of the best equipped and most modern urology institutions in Serbia and added that citizens will greatly benefit from it becoming operational again after a period of ten years.
Dacic said that this is a joint project, made in cooperation with the Czech government, which donated funding for the building’s reconstruction and the City of Belgrade and the Serbian Health Ministry, who provided the equipment.
The health issue is especially important at this time when considering the threats from pandemics, Dacic said, noting that it is government policy to continue to upgrade the level of the health services.
Czech Ambassador to Serbia Hana Hubackova expressed her satisfaction with the reconstructed clinic, adding that it is one of the largest projects they have been involved in within Serbia.
Director of the "Dr Dragisa Misovic-Dedinje" clinical and hospital centre Radoslav Scepanovic said that the urology clinic is the most modern institution of its type in Serbia and that it will provide top class services to the public.
Director of the urology clinic Miodrag Lazic said that the Czech government invested nearly €2 million in the reconstruction of the building and the Serbian government and the City of Belgrade donated over €1 million for equipment.
