Germany among Serbia’s top partners

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Regional Development Mladjan Dinkic met today with member of the Christian Democratic Union Günther Krichbaum, who chairs the German parliament's European affairs committee.

Dinkic noted that Germany is among Serbia’s top partners.
The two officials discussed reforms in Serbia on the country’s EU integration road.
Dinkic presented Krichbaum with the government’s economic stability plan and expressed satisfaction with the results achieved so far.
He also said that the arrangement that Serbia signed with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) is important.
Krichbaum asked about the effects of the global economic crisis on Serbia.
The meeting also discussed ways of cooperating over rail traffic and the use of EU pre-accession funds by Serbia.
