Mladic video more than eight years old

Serbian Minister of Labour and Social Policy and President of the National Council for Cooperation with the ICTY Rasim Ljajic said today that all the video recordings of Hague indictee Ratko Mladic aired recently by Bosnia-Herzegovina TV are from more than eight years ago.

Ljajic said at a press conference that the recordings are part of the material that Serbia submitted to the ICTY in March this year, adding that Serbia insists that there should be an investigation into how these recordings became public.
I am afraid that the intention behind showing these recordings was to prevent the Netherlands from changing its stance regarding the removal of visa restrictions for Serbia and to once again project Serbia as guilty of not doing enough to conclude their cooperation with the Hague tribunal, said the Minister.
It is clear that somebody has evil intentions and is trying to hamper the process of Serbia’s EU integration, said the Minister.
Bosnia-Herzegovina TV last night aired the video recordings of Hague indictee Ratko Mladic, which are said to be authentic and made in the past 12 years, mainly in the settlement of Kosutnjak, Belgrade.
