Dacic meets participants in Artur Takac Memorial Tournament

Serbian First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dacic today met with participants in the 4th Belgrade International Athletics Tournament, the Artur Takac Memorial, which will be held tomorrow at the Partizan Stadium.

Dacic invited Belgraders to attend the event, noting that Takac was an important name in Serbian and international sport and that this is a way to pay tribute to him.
Director of the tournament Dragan Zivotic stressed that 159 athletes from 39 countries, including 20 from Serbia, will take part in the event.
The reception was also attended by the famous Canadian shot putter Dylan Armstrong, Serbian distance runner and European Athletics Championship Marathon runner up Olivera Jevtic, event promoter Nenad Stekic, secretary general of the Serbian Athletic Association Slobodan Brankovic, Coach Slavko Kuzmanovic, as well as numerous participants from abroad.
