At the main celebration marking the Victory Day and Europe Day, held at Belgrade’s National Theatre, Dacic stressed that Serbia resolutely rejects any form of neo-fascism, hatred and intolerance, as well as any alteration to history.
The policy of peace and tolerance and opposition to all forms of intolerance, with respect towards victims of fascism, is the basis with which Serbia, as a modern and developed state, will be a part of the democratic world, stressed Dacic.
On behalf of the Serbian government he paid his respects towards all participants in the anti-fascist struggle and the innocent victims of the Second World War, recalling the numerous cruelties committed by Nazis and fascists.
In the presence of top Serbian officials and other guests a concert of the Young Philharmonic at the National Theatre marked the end of a series of event to celebrate the Victory Day and Europe Day.
