Following an exercise, carried out by Serbian, French, Croatian, Montenegrin, Bosnian, Bulgarian and Republika Srpska anti-terrorist units at Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport, Dacic and Terral agreed that the two sides must continue cooperating over security issues.
Dacic thanked the French government and police for their support in this serious security project.
The minister noted that although Serbia has never suffered any terrorist attack, it has professional anti-terrorist units.
Terral pointed to the importance of exchanging experiences between members of Serbian and French anti-terrorist units, adding that France is ready to share its experiences with Serbia.
The French Ambassador expressed his readiness to improve security cooperation with Serbia, noting that he will soon sign a protocol on cooperation with Minister Dacic.
According to him, a protocol on readmission, which is of great importance for the removal of visa restrictions, is soon to be completed.
The exercise was organised by the French anti-terrorist unit RAID, together with the Serbian Gendarmerie, the Special Anti-terrorist Unit (SAJ) and the Counter-terrorist Unit (PTJ).
