Deputy Prime Minister for EU integration Bozidar Djelic will attend the Danube Summit, to be held in Ulm on May 6 at the initiative of the German province Baden Württemberg.
The Deputy Prime Minister’s cabinet states that on behalf of the Serbian government Djelic will sign a joint declaration endorsing the drafting of a joint European strategy for the Danube basin.
The main goal of the Danube Summit is to send a strong message to EU structures and the broadest European public about the determination of Danube countries to make the Danube basin one of the three basic European regions (along with the Baltic and Mediterranean regions), adds the statement.
