Deputy Prime Minister for EU Integration and Minister of Science and Technological Development Bozidar Djelic will attend a ministerial conference called “Development of a Regional Research Strategy for the Western Balkans”, taking place from April 23 to 24, in Sarajevo.
According to the Deputy Prime Minister’s cabinet a joint statement will be adopted to help promote the regional research strategy for the Western Balkans.
The main aim of the strategy is to enable better communication and exchanges of experience between scientists and researchers from Western Balkan countries.
The conference will be attended by EU Commissioner for Science and Research Janez Potocnik, Czech Minister of Education, Youth and Sports Ondrej Liska, Secretary General of the Regional Cooperation Council Hido Biscevic and Albanian Minister of Education and Science Fatos Beja.
Bosnia-Herzegovina Minister of Civil Affairs Sredoje Novic, Croatian Minister of Science, Education and Sports Dragan Primorac, Macedonian Minister of Science and Education Pero Stojanovski and Montenegrin Minister of Science and Education Sreten Skuletic will also participate.
