Italy grateful for earthquake aid offered by Serbia

Serbian First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dacic said today that Italian Interior Minister Roberto Maroni has thanked Serbia for offering help and assistance in the aftermath of the earthquake that hit Italy.
In a statement to Tanjug news agency Dacic said that Maroni expressed his gratitude on behalf of the Italian government and people saying that Serbia’s offer is highly appreciated. Dacic said that Serbia will be informed soon whether its assistance is needed.
He said that he talked to Maroni via telephone and offered to send Serbian police rescue teams and once more expressed his deep grief at the tragic natural disaster.
