Serbian Minister of Culture Nebojsa Bradic and Russian Ambassador to Serbia Alexander Konuzin today agreed to organise the Days of Russian Culture in Serbia, as well the Days of Serbian Culture in Russia.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Culture, Bradic said that this is a great opportunity for both Serbia and Russia to present their achievements concerning film, theatre, dance and visual arts, which will considerably contribute to the development of cultural cooperation between the two countries.
Bradic and Konuzin expressed satisfaction with the fact that the preparation of the programme for cultural cooperation to be signed by representatives of the culture ministries of the two countries is in its final phase and will be signed very soon.
The Russian Ambassador said that he is convinced that this will present Russian culture to Serbia.
He stressed that translations of the works of many modern Russian writers are available in Serbia and that the Serbian public is extremely interested in Russian literature, adding that the most important areas of cooperation for the two countries should be culture and education.
