Serbian First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dacic met today in Belgrade with UEFA President Michel Platini who is on a two day visit to Serbia.

After the meeting Dacic stated that the Serbian government wishes to support the development of football and to build the necessary infrastructure.
The government wants to create conditions for preventing spectator violence in stadiums and to properly regulate football organizations and clubs, said the Minister. He expressed gratitude to Platini for UEFA’s help to the Football Association of Serbia (FSS).
The meeting between Dacic and Platini was also attended by FSS President Tomislav Karadzic, General Secretary Zoran Lakovic and the national football team coach Radomir Antic. Later today Platini is due to meet with FSS executives.
