Serbian Deputy Prime Minister for EU integration and head of the National Competition Council Bozidar Djelic today presided over the 4th session of the Council.
The Council examined a report on Serbia’s progress in the implementation of the European Charter for Small Enterprises for the Western Balkans and decided to hold consultations with representatives of the most successful small and medium-sized enterprisers (SMEs) in Serbia in order to determine effective forms of financing as well as for simplifying business procedures.
The Council also examined the planning and building bill according to which building permits are to be issued. It is expected that passing the planning and building law will significantly improve competition in Serbia.
