At a press conference, held at the government building, Jovanovic specified that the government will earmark RSD 2.49 billion in this respect.
He explained that entrepreneurs will be able to take loans, worth from RSD 500.000 to RSD 3 million, and companies will be allowed to take from RSD 2 million to RSD 250 million.
Loans must be paid off over a period of 7 years with an annual interest rate of 1%. These funds will be invested in industrial and agricultural production.
State Secretary pointed out that loans will not be provided for primary agricultural production, trade and the purchase of cars.
The government expects these loans to help employ more than 4.500 people in underdeveloped municipalities, said Jovanovic, adding that this year the state budget will earmark approximately RSD 0.5 billion more in this respect than the previous one.
