Mladjan Dinkic and Nebojsa Ciric
At a press conference held at the government building, Dinkic said that the government loan programme envisages that banks will activate their credit supply, the Ministry of Economy and Regional Development setting aside RSD 3 billion and the Development Fund RSD 5 billion.
According to Dinkic banks will provide a RSD 77 million loan with halved interest rates.
Dinkic specified that Komercijalna Banka, Societe Generale, Intesa, Unicredit, Erste, Hypo Alpe Adria, Raiffeisen, EFG, KBC, OTP, Privredna, Srpska, Cacanska and Universal Bank have already signed loan agreements.
Minister Dinkic also announced that next week the government may discuss a programme concerning the replacement of old vehicles with new Puntos.
The Minister recalled that the government will provide a €1.000 subsidy for the purchase of a new Punto, whose overall price will be €5.999.
The Ministry of Environment and Spatial Planning will first announce a competition for the recycling of old vehicles, explained Dinkic.
Citizens will also be able to replace cars with Montenegrin plates provided they were in Serbia for at least one year, he added.
Dinkic said that the Punto is considered a domestic product because €720 from each car will go to Zastava, while VAT revenues will go to the budget.
State Secretary of Economy and Regional Development Nebojsa Ciric said there is no reason to talk with former employees of department store chain Robne Kuce Beograd who are protesting in front of the government building today, because this case is in the jurisdiction of the High Commercial Court.
Ciric recalled that former employees received €28 million and over 11,000 employees received severance payment of €135 per each year of service.
