Serbian Minister for the Diaspora Srdjan Sreckovic called on the media, the public and all state institutions to participate in the promotion of Djavolja Varos (Devil’s Town), which after the first phase of voting is currently ranked first on a New Seven World Wonders of Nature list, in the caves, rock formations and valleys category.
Speaking at a press conference Sreckovic said that it is very important for the image of the state and the Serbian people, as well as for tourism in Serbia, for Djavolja Varos to enter the top rankings for the New Seven World Wonders list, calling on all Serbian citizens in the country and abroad to vote for it.

www.djavoljavaros.com, adding that the second phase of voting will be from January 7 to July 7.
At the end of the conference the Minister also cast his vote and informed those who voted in the first phase that they have the right to vote in the second phase.
Director of the company Planinka, in charge of the preservation of Djavolja Varos, Radovan Raicevic, said that the promotion of this natural phenomenon is very important for tourism and thanked the Ministry for the Diaspora for their support.
Raicevic said that the company Planinka will award lucky voters 20 ten day visits to the Prolom Banja resort and 50 Djavolja Varos souvenir gifts. An exhibition of photographs of Djavolja Varos was opened after the press conference.
