Speaking at a press conference Skundric said that advisor to the General Director of Gazpromneft Dmitri Malyshev was appointed head of the executive board at a session of the NIS shareholders assembly and Gazpromneft Deputy General Director Kirill Kravchenko is the new NIS general director.
Minister Skundric, who presided over the shareholders assembly, said that from the 11 members of the executive board, the Serbian government will appoint five and four of those appointments were made today.
He said that Biserka Jeftinijevic-Drinjakovic, Dusan Petrovic, Dusan Elezovic and Nikola Martinovic were appointed today and the fifth member will be appointed at a later date.
He said that Gazpromneft’s CEO Alexander Dyukov will represent Russia in the NIS shareholders assembly, adding that the NIS monitoring committee will also be appointed within a week.
Skundric said that today the first step was made towards establishing a new company which aims to become a regional leader.
He said that the second step is announcing a tender for purchasing new equipment for the Pancevo refinery and perhaps for the refinery in Novi Sad.
Dyukov said that from 25% to 40% of the total planned investment of €547 million for NIS will be invested during 2009.
